How to Install Loklok on Android

Two methods covered: Google Play (recommended for most users) and direct APK sideloading. Both are straightforward — we'll walk you through each one.

Method 1: Google Play Store

The easiest and recommended method — Loklok installs like any regular app with automatic updates.

Open the Google Play Store
Tap the Play Store icon on your Android device's home screen or app drawer.

Search for Loklok
Type "Loklok" in the search bar, or tap the direct Google Play link below to go straight to the app page.

Tap Install
Tap the green "Install" button. The app will download and install automatically. No additional settings needed.

Open and enjoy
Tap "Open" or find Loklok in your app drawer. You're ready to browse thousands of Asian dramas and movies.

Method 2: Direct APK (Sideload)

Use this if Play Store isn't available or you want the latest build directly. Requires one extra setting.

Enable Unknown Sources
Go to Settings → Security (or Privacy) → Enable "Install from Unknown Sources" for your browser or file manager.

Download the APK
Tap the APK download button. Your browser will save Loklok_latest.apk to your Downloads folder.

Open the APK file
Open your Downloads folder and tap the APK file. Tap "Install" when prompted.

Launch Loklok
Tap "Done" or "Open." Find the Loklok icon in your app drawer and start watching.

Common Installation Issues

"Install blocked" message: Go to Settings → Security → Unknown Sources and enable it for your file manager or browser app.
💾
"Not enough storage": Free up space on your device. Loklok requires around 80–100 MB. Clear cached data in Settings → Storage to recover space quickly.
📲
APK already installed but app won't open: Try uninstalling the current version first, then reinstalling the latest APK from the download link above.
🌐
Video not loading: Check your internet connection. Make sure you're on Wi-Fi or have a stable mobile data connection. Try switching to a lower quality setting in the player.
